"Install-and-Forget Protection for your PC"
Reviewer: David Barry (1905 points)
Norton 360 is an excellent product for protecting your PC and data from all of the
different threats that plague users today. Its user interface is clean and easy
to use, and the combination of better performance and quiet protection makes it
worth the purchase over other Norton versions. When I first started looking at Norton
360, all I could think about was what I didn't like about the program; writing this
review wasn't easy. I consider myself to be an advanced user, so I often have a
critical view of software that doesn't give me the ability to configure every aspect
of the product the way that I want it to run.

"Stepped Up Antivirus Protection"
Reviewer: Carolyn T. (1906 points)
Norton AntiVirus 2008 is an easy-to-use computer protection software application that is very customizable and takes the guesswork out of protecting
your computer. New home networking features make the tool ideal for small home networks of three or fewer computers. With reminders for product updates, the
tool allows the user to remain protected against new and emerging threats from not only email messaging but also instant messaging, trojan horses, worms, file
downloads, and hackers.

It keeps your personal information and your identity safe when you buy, bank and browse online.
"A Solid, Well Rounded, Security Application"
Reviewer: Paul Pardi (3156)
Norton Internet Security is a solid, well rounded, security application. Based on the results of my tests, it would seem that the engineers at Symantec
have addressed many of the issues that had plagued the software in earlier versions. The granular features are not for the faint of heart and users who want a
basic security suite could save a little money by going with another package. Still, it will be hard to find a better package with more to offer.

Norton Ghost provides advanced backup and recovery for your computer. Protect your documents, financial records, presentations, photos, music, videos, historical documents,
or any other kinds of data you keep on your computer by making a backup of your computer's entire hard disk. Or, limit your backup to include only those files and folders
that mean the most to you.
"Backup Software with Advanced Features"
Reviewer: Andy Dunn (1378 points)
When it comes to backups Norton Ghost does a pretty good job, and it has some interesting features such as the virtual machine creation...
if you need network backups, complex imaging-based backups, event-triggered backups, Google desktop integration, or other features, you'll find Ghost is a solid product.
Bottom line: Norton Ghost is a good product; it just may be more product than you need.

Norton Confidential provides website authentication to verify that the sites you visit are safe.
It also has antiphishing protection, antipharming protection, and an ability to detect new or unknown crimeware through heuristic scanning.
To round out the collection of security tools, Norton Confidential also provides you with the ability to store and encrypt passwords.
"Some Issues Reduce Value"
Reviewer: Tony Bradley (1374 points)
Users need to have protection when surfing and shopping on the Web, and a secure method of storing and recalling passwords is vital, but Norton Confidential may not be
the solution. I am not a fan of installing a different security product for each threat and I would prefer to just have all of this protection and functionality included
in one security suite. Overall, I would not recomend investing the money for Norton Confidential as a standalone solution...when an all-in-one security product like
Norton 360 should do the trick.
